Keith Bennett's Karate Academy

Kwan Jang Nim Keith Bennett Director KBKA Pyung Ahn Do	Sa Bom Nim Keith Bennett is the Director of KBKA Pyung Ahn Do. KJN Bennett is a 6th degree Master in the Martial Arts and has a PhD in Martial Arts Studies. He has studied the martial arts since 1976 and holds belts in multiple styles. SBN Bennett trained under and received his Master Certificate and Belt from Grandmaster Hwang Kee in 1996. SBN Bennett was promoted to 6th Dan by Grandmaster H. C. Hwang in 2007. In 2009 SBN Bennett launched his own martial arts style, combining his own philosophy with those of traditional Korean Martial Arts. He continues to lead our school through its evolution. Under his guidance thousands of students have been shown the benefits of Martial Arts and thousand more in the community have been helped through his generosity.
Sa Bom Nim John Ioia Master Instructor	Sa Bom Nim Dr. John Ioia began his studies in the Martial Arts in 1968 starting in Shoto Kan Karate, then Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do. He continues to train and teach under Kwan Jang Nim Bennett. He received his Master Certificate (Sa Dan – 4^th Degree) in 2007. Among his other accomplishments, Dr. Ioia holds a Doctoral Degree in Medicine, is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry. In July 2008 Master Ioia was presented his certification as Sa Bom Nim (Certified Master Instructor).
Kyo Sa Nim Kim Bennett Manager, Certified Instructor	Mrs. Kim Bennett is Manager and Co-Owner of the school. She received her Third Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan) in 2006, and is a Kyo-Sa Certified Instructor. Kyo Sa Bennett tested for and was promoted to Sa Dan, 4th Degree April 2010.
Kyo Sa Nim Lisa Van Oyan Certified Instructor Head Instructor	Mrs. Lisa Van Oyan has been with us since 1998. She received her Third Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan) in 2006, and is a Kyo-Sa Certified Instructor. Kyo Sa Van Oyan is Head Instructor and is charge of our Student Program. Kyo Sa Van Oyan tested for and was promoted to Sa Dan, 4th Degree April 2010.

Kyo Sa Nim Arisha Adams Certified Instructor	Ms. Arisha Adams was promoted to Third Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan) in April 2010, and is a Kyo-Sa Certified Instructor.
Kyo Sa Nim Scott Hosier Certified Instructor	Mr Hosier and his family transferred to our school in 2003. Mr. Hosier was promoted to Kyo Sa Certified Instructor in 2008. Mr. Scott Hosier received his Third Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan) in April 2010,
Kyo Sa Nim James Scholefield Certified Instructor	Mr. James Scholefield received his First Degree Black Belt (Cho Dan) in 2005 and started training with us in 1998. Mr. Scholefield was promoted to the rank of E Dan (second degree black belt) October 2007. Mr Scholefield was promoted to Kyo Sa, certified instructor in August 2009. In April 2010 Kyo Sa Scholefield was promoted to Sam Dan (Third Degree).
Kyo Sa Nim Christopher Sill Certified Instructor Program Director	Mr. Sill joined our school in April 2007. He was asked to help the School in the Position of Program Director in 2007. Mr. Sill was promoted to First Degree Black Belt (Cho Dan) in July 2009. He received his Instructor certification (Kyo Sa) in August 2009. Mr. Sill helps develop the advertising and marketing materials and he maintains our website. Mr. Sill works with our new students to get them familiar with and started in our program. His wife (Ingrid) and son (Alexander) both train at our school. NEW PHOTO COMING SOON Steve Beckerman Instructor	Mr. Steve Beckerman has been with us since 1996. He received his Second Degree Black Belt (E Dan) in 2003. He will be testing for his Third Degree (Sam Dam) soon.
Jo Kyo Dylan Anderson Certified Assistant Instructor	Mr. Anderson was promoted to the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt (E Dan) and received his certification as Jo Kyo (Certified Assistant Instructor) in July 2009. He is an accomplished in Bo Staff and is member of our Demonstration Team. He and his brother Tyler can be found training or assisting almost every day and are very dedicated members of our school. We are thankful to their parents for their support. Their father is also an active Dan member of our school
Jo Kyo Tyler Anderson Certified Assistant Instructor	Mr. Anderson was promoted to the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt (E Dan) and received his certification as Jo Kyo (Certified Assistant Instructor) in July 2009. Jo Kyo Ingrid Sill Certified Assistant Instructor	Mrs. Ingrid Sill has been a student since 2003 and received her First Degree Black Belt (Cho Dan) in October 2007. She is Jo Kyo, Certified assistant Instructor. Her son Alexander and Husband (our program director) are also Dan members in our school.
